Smith & Wesson Earns Shooting Industry Awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Smith & Wesson
Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: SWHC), parent company of Smith & Wesson Corp.,
the legendary 155-year old company in the global business of safety,
security, protection and sport, announced today that it has received top
awards in two categories from the Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence.
Smith & Wesson was named the "Manufacturer of the Year" for the second year
in a row and the company's M&P45 polymer pistol was named "Handgun of the
Year".

When asked how a company that created the notorious
"Hillary-Hole"
could have been granted ANY award
after dropping trou for the Clinton Administration,
the SIAE responded that
bygones should be bygones,
especially since S&W spends all of them advertising bucks
in virtually every firearms periodical the country over.
