He's awfully pricey...each box of 20 will run you around $54 including shipping... but no one is cranking out factory stuff any hotter and the reason I've an eye on the 460 is the gain twist rifling that makes such a difference with regards to recoil.

The 500 remains king with regards to heavier rounds, but having a handgun equal to a 30-06 is very attractive to those of us who'd like to have both hands free while traversing the wilderness.

I swear the kick is no greater than a mid-range .44 magnum and for as much as I despise S&W and would never purchase a new gun of theirs, some of the 460's are showing up at pawn shops and gun stores at reasonably decent prices.
