The Palestinian Authority was established in 1994, pursuant to the Oslo Accords between Israel and the PLO. The Oslo Agreement, Annex 2, Article III (1995) outlines eligibility for PA elected office:

The nomination of any candidates, parties or coalitions will be refused, and such nomination or registration once made will be canceled, if such candidates, parties or coalitions:

(1) commit or advocate racism; or
(2) pursue the implementation of their aims by unlawful or nondemocratic means.

Now, everyone is quite aware that the Oslo Accords was a unilateral pact, as only Israel had to abide by any of the agreements stated therein, so it should come as no surprise that the friendly fiends from Hamas should wish to participate in election processes as candidates for legislative office. No surprise, but here's the catch; the only thing the far left...and this includes the United Nanny's as well as American moons... has to hold on to regarding Slick Willy's Presidency...besides the gays in the military fiasco, are the infamous Oslo Disaccords.
