MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — "Two Middle Eastern men arrested near a Navy base after authorities found what they said were several pipe bombs in their car were charged Monday with possession of an explosive device, authorities said.
A joint state-federal investigation was under way to see if there was any terrorism connection but no link had been found yet, said FBI spokeswoman Denise Taiste. The Navy base is the site of a brig where enemy combatants have been held.
Ahmed Abda Sherf Mohamed, 24, admitted he made the pipe bombs from items he bought at Wal-Mart, according to an affidavit with his arrest warrant.
Mohamed and Yousef Samir Megahed, 21, have a reason for having the devices and it will become clear in later court hearings, defense attorney Dennis Rhoad said after bond hearings for the men Monday..."
Begging ones pardon, but the fact that they are moslems IS NOT A LINK to terrorism? Out of say the last 8000 acts of terrorism perpetrated around the world moslems have been involved 99.999% of the time and this doesn't provide clue-one as to a possible link?
To top it off, some other raghead is claiming that these rapscallions were "racially profiled" simply because they were moslems speeding and had pipe bombs in the car.
Silly me. Guess I'm a racial profiler too because while I'd like to offer that they should have been simply shot dead on the spot, I'll cut the fella's some slack and say that they should go to jail for maybe the next 60 years or so unless the authorities dig up some additional interesting terror-tidbits on them. Then it's pay-per-view electric chair time.
