FOXNews.com - U.S. & World - 54 Guns Seized From Ludwig Home

LITITZ, Pa. — "Fifty-four guns were seized from the home of an 18-year-old in custody for shooting his girlfriend's parents dead and then taking her on the lam, court papers show.

The weapons and ammunition removed from David Ludwig's home were confiscated in a search conducted Sunday, according to the documents. At the time, Ludwig and his 14-year-old girlfriend Kara Beth Borden were still at large."

Not a half bad collection, and it means nothing other than he or his parents or guardians owned some guns. Always a tiny bit of the story, focusing of course upon the sensational, or for those who feel like it MIGHT appear sensational, but my googling Ludwig provided me nothing but bare bones and sometimes conflicting info.

Listen, I know people with that many GLOCKS. 54 is not a large number of guns for those who collect weapons or simply enjoy shooting. There are folks who over the years assemble hundreds of weapons in various degrees of working order, and shame on Fox for crying "Gun".
