Makkee Giry

Retraction? Phony But Real? Was CBS Behind This?

Charles at lgf: "Shari'a Punishment" Photos Misattributed is saying that the horrid photos of an 8 year old boy having his arm crushed by a car for stealing bread, were fake but real. Seems they were nudge, nudge, wink, wink, "just a misunderstanding", or thats what the editors of a certain moslem news agency is passing along.

"Makkee giry", the editors say. Make gory. They're trying to convince us that the boy and father are a traveling geek show, whereby the lad gets run over by a car as a sort of moslem carny-show.

Kinda makes it even worse, but posting a retraction just because some towelhead says the boy was paid to be harmed doesn't wash. Not with me, but I can see how Charles must maintain SOME level of journalistic integrity after last months missiles fired at the commercial aircraft fiasco.

Here's how we commented: Shooting The Messenger: Crime And Punishment
