Why Can't The Liberal Media Even SAY The Word?

WASHINGTON (AP) - "The 14 centrists who averted a Senate breakdown over judicial nominees last spring are showing signs of splintering on President Bush's latest nominee for the Supreme Court.

That is weakening the hand of Democrats opposed to conservative judge Samuel Alito and enhancing his prospects for confirmation.

The unity of the seven Democrats and the seven Republicans in the "Gang of 14" was all that halted a major filibuster fight between GOP leader Bill Frist and Democratic leader Harry Reid earlier this year over Bush's nominees."

Okay, okay, blah and more blah. If the LIBERALS don't get their way they threaten to shut the whole bloody thing down. Then here's this:

"Bush announced Alito on Monday following the failed nomination of White House counsel Harriet Miers, who was undermined by conservatives."

It's ALWAYS conservatives when the press wants to paint a poor picture or say something as ludicrous as Harriet Miers was undermined.

SO why can't they say that the LIBERAL arm of the Democratic Party is the one threatening the fillibuster?

Can you imagine being so ashamed of your political bent as to not be capable of even uttering the word itself? Check it out whenever you see stories...stories of ANY sort.

It's Democrats and Republicans when there's not much going on, but let some friction arise and it's Democrats versus Conservatives.
