MYERS: "Meanwhile, overseas, France is engulfed in an 11th straight night of riots with no end in sight...But even after what Chirac said, we're seeing more violence. What you could point out, though, is that there - at this point, about half as many vehicles torched as the night before. So you might call that progress, Carol."
LIN: Hard to say because it's been 11 days since two African- American teenagers were killed, electrocuted during a police chase, which prompted all of this.
See what one can learn by watching CNN? Who ELSE knew that the two moslems killed as they ran from a police roadblock...where law enforcement was checking ID cards and the poor, underprivileged, downtrodden, choirboys had left theirs home...who knew they were AMERICANS? Why hasn't the government DONE anything about this?
Where are the diplomatic protests to France condemming such brutality by the local police? Our OWN people, horribly killed in the most gruesome manner, electrocuted as they fled the barbaric arms of stormtroopers positioned to savage them, and we sit idly by and...
Beg pardon? You say that it's just natural for a liberal commentator to include the word AMERICAN after the word AFRICAN? Force of habit? All of Africa is now destined to be remembered and commented upon by employing AMERICAN after the name of the continent itself?
