Insult Hurled At Chinese Dictator...

Free world braces for new member?

April 21, 2006 -- WILL WENYI WANG'S WORDS WORK?
THE sight yester day morning of Chinese Prime Minister Hu Jintao being upbraided by a pro-democracy protestor at the White House at the outset of his state visit was both shocking and thrilling.

It was shocking because a wild intrusion at a controlled event at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue really isn't welcome.

It was thrilling because the head of a tyrannical government was forced for a moment to hear the voice of freedom - a voice that unmistakably told him in his own language, "Your days are numbered, no more time for China's ruling party."

J-Pod proves beyond any doubt that he really needs to get out more. These are the same people who drive 60 ton tanks over their own protesting citizens, have been doing something akin to that for centuries, and the unmitigated insult hurled at Jintao will do nothing but else but convince the Chinese that we're barbarians who cannot control our own people. Millions of pundits and bloggers and columnists say far worse every day about China, so it's not like the lady had her an epiphany she just HAD to share with the rest of human kind.
