Man Kills Buck With Bare Hands in Bedroom - Yahoo! News

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - It looked like a crime scene, but no charges will be filed after Wayne Goldsberry killed a buck with his bare hands in his daughter's bedroom. The engagement lasted an exhausting 40 minutes, but Goldsberry finally subdued the five-point whitetail deer that crashed through a bedroom window at his daughter's home Friday.

Local authorities said that Wal-Mart, whose Corporate offices are located nearby, had requested permission to relieve them of the dead animal as a company picnic was scheduled for later that day. "Hell, boy, cheap meat is cheap meat." A company representative who asked to remain anonymous told Messenger, "You go and try to feed hundreds of people with the budget they give us. Just ain't possible so's we always got our eyes open for roadkill and the like."

Nearby residents verified that a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer was seen leaving the area several hours later, but police would neither confirm nor deny that the multi-billion dollar company had indeed taken charge of the carcass.
