RACIST FRANCE

by Ralph Peters

"There is no Western country more profoundly racist than France. There's nothing resembling equal-opportunity programs or affirmative action. Even if the government attempts some halfhearted reforms in the wake of the current uproar, the average French employer will have none of it (they don't even want to hire more white citoyens). And French voters will turn hard right at the next election."

I'd agree with Ralph to a point. He's obviously never lived in Australia where the indigenous peoples continue to be treated as third class citizens, and the prejuidice against people of color or nationalities other than Scot/Irish is so pronounced that Italians actors emigrate to the states to find work. I could go on and on, but suffice to say that the LEAST prejudiced land I've ever lived in or visited has been the United States.

It's also interesting to see Mr. Peters mention things such as affirmative action with a straight face, and in the same sentence as equal-opportunity. Affirmative action, and equal opportunity are polar opposites, Ralph, so what's in YOUR cup of morning joe today? Huh?
