A DRUDGE REPORT 2005® offering that is of course as wrong as wrong can be. There is no such thing as a flu germ. Influenza's are viruses, not germs, and one would imagine that anyone with a fairly decent elementary school eduction would be aware of this.

And that's one of the reasons I stopped clicking into Drudge. Whoever does his headlining is quite close to being a functional illiterate, that and the fact that so very many of his inside-scoops turn out to be duds.

Terrible shame that being first to the table means continued popularity when such rubbish is featured on so regular a basis.
