All Is Not Lost...

As SOME Senators remember the oath they took to protect and defend...

"Efforts to rewrite the nation's immigration laws collapsed in the Senate yesterday, renewing doubts about Congress's ability and willingness to tackle the complex, emotional issue in an election year.

A tenuous bipartisan compromise, announced a day earlier, fell apart when Democrats rejected conservative Republicans' demands for numerous changes, some designed to limit the number of illegal immigrants who could become eligible for citizenship. Trapped between the conservatives' demands and the Democrats' parliamentary powers to limit amendments, GOP leaders conceded a setback. But they vowed to try again when Congress returns from a two-week recess."

Oh yeah. It's Democrats and Conservatives, or Democrats and Conservative Republicans, but nary a mention of the word liberal to describe the stark raving loons who'd turn the country over to the invaders from beanerville. And we're still hearing about how hard, how expensive, how very, very tiring it would be to round up each and every one of the 11-12 million predominantly Mexican criminals hiding out in our country. It's a good thing that law enforcement as a whole doesn't weep about the approximate same number of American-born and bred lawbreakers they're on the lookout for each and every day.

Whenever there's a weepy little sniffle, and a tiny voice caterwauling about how HARD something is, guarn-fucking-teed there's a Loon complaining in the woodwork.
