TORRE TO BOSS: DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS TEAM

ANAHEIM — George Steinbrenner doesn't bark as loud as he did. However, that doesn't mean his employees don't expect to hear from him.
This is of course the same thing Torre was telling Steinbrenner last year. We'll wake up when the time comes. None of these games mean a damn thing.
Tell that to the paying customers, or don't draw a salary until they DO show up to play.
