FAU shooting suspect arrested at culinary school

"A Palm Beach County man squeezed off two shots during a fight at an overnight party in a Florida Atlantic University apartment Wednesday, striking no one in particular but paralyzing the campus for nearly 12 hours during finals week, police said.

Authorities traced Omar Graham, 23, to Johnson & Wales' College of Culinary Arts campus in North Miami, where they arrested him.

No one was seriously hurt in the early morning shooting, and it is likely no one was even struck by a bullet.

''It's very fortunate that no one was killed,'' said Keith Totten, deputy chief of FAU police.

Graham will likely be charged with aggravated assault and possession of weapon on a college campus. It is still not clear what led to the fight in residence hall 58, Totten added.

As police worked to piece together the night's events, students at FAU's Boca Raton campus were finally allowed to venture outside after hours of seclusion. The campus remained closed until Thursday, but the lockdown, which began less than an hour after the shooting, was lifted about 12:30 p.m.

All Wednesday classes were canceled -- in the middle of final exam week -- but will resume Thursday. Wednesday's exams will be made up Saturday.

Police located Graham after releasing a strikingly clear surveillance photo of the man believed to be the gunman and appealed to the public for help in finding him.

Here's how authorities said it happened:

About 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, a party in an on-campus apartment, which caters to juniors and seniors, turned hostile.

At some point, Graham, who was captured on surveillance video wandering the halls with a beer, opened fire. A man who is not an FAU student suffered a superficial cut in the fracas, although it may not have been from a bullet.

Less than a half-hour later, the campus-wide PA system issued an alert that there was an armed suspect on campus and all students should seek shelter immediately."

Besides wondering just how much getting cut in the fracas hurts, its good to know that it only took them half an hour to alert the campus of the shooting and that the shooter was still at large.

I mean, how much damage can a guy do in 30 minutes, right?

Ann Coulter Asks: OUT OF 'CONTEXT' OR OUT OF HIS MIND?

"Whew! I'm certainly glad to hear the "snippets" from Rev. Jeremiah Wright's sermons "in context."

In the famous B. Hussein Obama speech that sent a tingle down Chris Matthews' leg, Obama dismissed the clips of Rev. Wright being played on TV as mere "snippets." He claimed the media were highlighting Wright's "most offensive words," complaining that they had been played endlessly, as if repetition were the problem with the statement: "GOD DAMN AMERICA!"

It's absolutely unheard of to repeat passages from famous speeches. In fact, I have a dream that we will not do that. Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask that the media stop replaying "snippets." All we have to fear is repetition itself, because we are the people we've been waiting for to tear down that wall of endless repetition.

So, like I said: Whew. At last Rev. Wright's "snippets" have been put in a healing context. In two speeches and one uxorious interview with PBS' Bill Moyers over the past few days, Rev. Wright had plenty of time to lay out the lush analytical context of his remarks.

In his speech to the National Press Club on Monday, for example, Wright described America as a country of "segregation, Jim Crow, lynching and the separate-but-equal fantasy." Then he ran outside to feed more quarters into the meter where his time machine was parked.

Wright described this as a country that supported the "racist regime of South Africa" and "the Contras, who were killing the peasants and the Miskito Indians in those two countries" -- as opposed to the Sandinistas, who were equal-opportunity murderers with a more diverse group of victims.

He said this is a country that "cuts food stamps and spends billions fighting in an unjust war in Iraq," neglecting to add that before you can cut the food stamp program, you must have a country that has a food stamp program.

He said we are a country that sent "over 4,000 American boys and girls of every race to die over a lie." And Wright said it is a country "where I can worship God on Sunday morning wearing a black clergy robe and kill others on Sunday evening wearing a white Klan robe." (Unless, like me, you do all your Klan-related murdering on "casual Fridays.")

And, to listen to Wright, those were the "U.S. of KKK A.'s" good points! (Is it just me, or does Rev. Wright sound kind of bitter these days? I sure hope he doesn't have a gun.)

He clarified his Sept. 16, 2001, sermon, in which he said that on 9/11 "America's chickens are coming home to roost" by saying: "You cannot do terrorism on other people and expect it never to come back on you." I'm glad to get the full context on that because I had thought he was talking about chicken farming.

Actually, that's pretty much the way I took it even when presented as a "snippet."

Rev. Wright also put into context his church giving an award to fellow Obama supporter Louis Farrakhan by saying: "He is one of the most important voices in the 20th and 21st century. That's what I think about him. ... I am not going to put down Louis Farrakhan."

Why did Rev. Wright's supporters think it would be helpful to hear longer versions of the "snippets"?

Curiously, Rev. Wright complained that "everybody wants to paint me as if I'm anti-Semitic because of what Louis Farrakhan said 20 years ago" -- especially those damn East Coast, money-grubbing Jews, he carelessly added. This from a man whose entire oeuvre is based on reveling in what happened in this country 250 years ago.

Rev. Wright clarified his statement, "GOD DAMN AMERICA!" by explaining: "God doesn't bless everything. God condemns something -- and d-e-m-n, 'demn,' is where we get the word 'damn.' God damns some practices."

Well, that changes the meaning entirely.

One begins to suspect that the Clintons, flush with those megamillions they got from selling their previous tenancy at the White House, have put the reverend on staff. I believe this used to be called "walking around money."

Obama said the Rev. Wright he heard defending himself on Monday was not the Rev. Wright he met 20 years ago. This is the political equivalent of the "It's not you, it's me" speech. He might just as well have said, "I love Rev. Wright. I'm just not in love with him anymore. Hey, can I have my CDs back?"

If it takes Obama 20 years to notice that his pastor is a traitorous, racist nut-job, it will probably take him his full term of office to realize that the U.S. has been invaded and subdued by al-Qaida. Let's just hope President Obama pays closer attention during national security briefings than he did during 20 years of the Rev. Wright's church services.

The only good news for the Obama campaign this week is that Obama admitted that his relationship with Rev. Wright is "a legitimate political issue," which at least makes him smarter than John McCain, who just last week denounced the North Carolina Republicans for an ad mentioning Obama's raving lunatic pastor."

Yes indeed, Ann. In one breath our unholy duo...the Jeremiah-Obo Traveling Salvation Show...likes to offer that highly irregular goings on in the past shouldn't be used to condemn those living in the present, then takes one helluva next inhalation to caterwaul about indignities suffered centuries ago, because, after all, it was done TO them, and not BY them so that makes all the difference in the world.

When folks in lunatic asylums utter such gibberish they simply get a heavier dose of sanity-juice in the hope that modern medication will alleviate blithering nonsense syndrome. When black preachers and politicians go off the deep end they get millions of dollars, lavish mansions, and praise from a fawning media.

But you really can't have it both ways, guys. Unfortunately, at least for the likes of you, it isn't the 80's anymore and there are other news outlets besides the liberal media who will overlook anything as long as at the end of the day you blame America.

Now, even though the Jeremiah-Obo kerfuffle has been hilarious it has put Hillary on the back burner. I for one think she's at times even funnier than they are, and haven't we had enough of bigoted black racists disrespecting America? Darn tootin'. So let's switch back to the Clinton show where we can have elitist white traitors disrespecting America. With all this time to sit back preparing speeches condemning our way of life, betcha the Clinton camp has some terrific stuff for us.

THE REV & THE GLOBAL VICTIMS' CLUB

by Ralph Peters

"We've always had blame-mongers on the margins, but, blessedly, that's where they've usually remained.

The Wrights of the world aren't really interested in helping those caught on the outside looking in. Instead of encouraging their followers to grasp the opportunities before them, they preach that all those opportunities are illusions, that the system is stacked so cruelly against their own kind that there's no chance of getting ahead.

I've seen this in the Middle East, where every dead car battery is the fault of the Great Satan America (and of Israel, of course), and in Latin America, where politicians steal everything in sight and blame every shuttered bakery on the Yankees who long since went home.

I've seen it in India, where Hindus blame Muslims or members of other castes for every ill. And (God help that tortured continent) I've seen it again and again in Africa, where blame is the currency of politics.

The global refusal to shoulder responsibility is a strategic issue of the first order - although you'll never hear it briefed in Washington.

As I write, the Chinese are in full dudgeon, blaming foreign devils yet again, this time for embarrassing their Olympic efforts - utterly unwilling to admit that Beijing may have created a few problems on its own.

Russians are again raging at the West for their self-wrought squalor, while Europeans blame Israel (those pesky Jews again!) for their homemade problems with marginalized Muslim immigrants.

In Venezuela, Presidente Hugo Chavez still blames every problem on el Diablo Bush, while wrecking the future of a wretched population. In Iran, fanatics blame everyone but themselves for their country's stagnation, while al Qaeda rages that America has caused the 1,000-year decline of Arab civilization (demagogues have chronic difficulties with dates).

And just to remind us that we aren't fully immune to the seductive appeal of blaming others for our personal disappointments, in marched the Rev. Wright, fists clenched and rhetoric ringing.

His name is Legion. Wright is part of a global phenomenon plaguing every major faith and every civilization. He's not a problem for any one race, but for every race - for all of us who believe in a loving God and who maintain that every man and woman deserves a chance to succeed.

Preaching hatred and vengeance in the name of religion: Heard that from anyone else recently?"

Hey, whatever works, right?

Work hard, do your utmost, accept your station in life with pride, knowing that you have strived to be at the top of your profession whatever it may be.

Damn but that's a hard sell to people who are bombarded daily by religious leaders and politicians pushing the victim button. You complain, and the handouts increase. You threaten social unrest, and apologists flock to your door with visions of sugar plums. You fail at something, as everyone does, and the bar is lowered to accept failure as a standard rather than something to be ashamed of.

The Old Shell-Game Continues

"SHARPTON RAPS OBAMA"

"Barack Obama made a call for nonviolence in the aftermath of the Sean Bell verdict - infuriating the Rev. Al Sharpton, who accused the presidential candidate of trying to "grandstand in front of white people," sources told The Post.

During what a source described as a "heated" phone call yesterday, Sharpton told Obama he was disappointed with the Illinois senator's words on Friday, when Obama said "resorting to violence to express displeasure" was "completely unacceptable and counterproductive."

And if you believe that, I'll give you a special cut-rate price on this bridge I'm trying to unload.

Sharpton has joined the Pastor-Wright-Make-Obo-Seem-Normal campaign, in order to placate those frightened white people who otherwise might be averse to voting for someone who does seem to have some pretty subversive friends. Its the same old trick they play in NY, and for all I know back in Chi-town too. If the cats out of the bag then circle the wagons to prove that what you've heard tell isn't for real. Experts at playing Good-Negro, Bad-Negro, the best way to make someone appear mainstream is to give the public someone way out in left field to compare to.

Let no one say that these crooks aren't cunning.

We Hold These Truths To Be Self Evident....

What the gun industry can learn from scuba divers

"The Supreme Court will issue a major interpretation of the Second Amendment in coming weeks. But even as both sides in the gun debate await the D.C. v. Heller ruling, the gun industry should set its sights on a different target: certification.

It should develop and adopt a private licensing and certification program fashioned on the highly successful scuba diving industry model to provide safety, legal, and marksmanship training to all gun owners and users. Such a private mandate will ensure a base of safer and more knowledgeable gun users and develop a fresh and lucrative revenue source for the whole industry.

For decades, the debate on gun control in America has been defined by polar opposite political positions. On the left, gun ownership abolitionists seek the intervention of government to severely restrict or outlaw firearms possession and use. With strong support among coastal urban populations and high-income elites, these gun-control advocates appeal to the inherent evil of gun violence as proof of the desirability of severely restricting access to guns. Their argument is moralistic and practical, if altogether naive given the millions of firearms already present in American homes – and the ease of obtaining guns for criminal purposes.

On the other side, defiant gun owners and libertarians cite constitutional justification – and anachronistic biblical and patriotic frontier mythological imagery – to bolster their possession of an immutable right to "keep and bear arms." With such a political impasse of instinctive and deep mistrust, there is no wonder that little progress had been made in making our homes, streets, and fields safer from the real dangers of legal and illegal firearms use. The core of this problem derives from the absolutist nature of both camps. It is simple "No restrictions" versus "complete regulation or abolition."

Enter the scuba model. For decades, the international Scuba diving community has required all divers to obtain certifications from one of two private associations, the National Association of Underwater Instructors and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. No diver may fill their tanks or take part in recreational or professional diving trips without first obtaining a certification card from one of these private organizations. For their part, dive shops and schools generate significant portions of their revenue from the tuition that would-be divers pay to obtain their certifications at basic to advanced levels. Undergoing class-room instruction, pool lessons, and "open water" testing, graduates of these programs are thoroughly trained in all aspects of safety and proper procedure in what would otherwise be an inherently dangerous pastime.

The gun industry, perhaps led by the National Rifle Association, should develop a curriculum of training and education leading to firearms certification." All retailers of guns and or ammunition would require the provision of such private certification by the consumer before consenting to the sale of any of those items. Background checks should be included in the certification process as well as periodic refresher courses. The federal and state governments would not be involved. Records of gun ownership would be available to government or law-enforcement officials only with the written consent of the certified owner or a warrant provided by proper authority. Nonconsenting retailers would be "blackballed" by industry leaders and cut off from supplies of goods and services.

The firearms industry has an unprecedented opportunity to show leadership and creativity at this time when the debate is otherwise deadlocked. More safety and additional revenue for gun ranges and stores makes for a healthier industry that will have better success at attracting new sportsmen and customers."

Peter A. Gudmundsson is CEO of Dallas-based Beckett Media. He is a hunter and gun owner

But above all, an absolute tool.

Forget for a moment how utterly laughable it is to compare a Constitutional Right with SCUBA.

And ask this schlup precisely how his recommendations are going to stop criminals from committing crimes with guns.

It isn't the law-abiding gun owner who is the problem, Pete. You can even look it up.

Then again, it isn't the bad guy you want to hassle, now is it? Being so liberal a democrat you want the process of owning a firearm to become so expensive as to prohibit ownership to all but the wealthy few, and that's as good a way as any to do your duty as a professional gun-grabber. But you're not fooling anyone, Pete, so back to the drawing board, eh pally?

SWAT Team Kills Man Attempting To Commit Suicide

"A Pompano Beach man, apparently upset about homeowner's association dues, was shot by three members of the Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT team after he took two women hostage, according to the BSO.Home video captured 57-year-old Patrick Dellisanti walking calmly out of the community office of his apartment complex at 2204 S. Cypress Bend Drive.

He could be seen hugging one of the women and then walking down the sidewalk. He reached into the right front pocket of his pants, slowly pulling out what authorities said was a revolver.

One witness, who observed the scene with binoculars from his balcony, told Local 10's Janine Stanwood, "It looked like he had the gun to his head, like he was going to shoot himself."

Within moments, the video showed, SWAT members rushed close to Dellisanti and at least eight shots could be heard.

Dellisanti fell to the ground. Authorities dragged him away."

On TV and in the movies, police gallantly think nothing of their own safety as they rush to stop someone from committing suicide.

"Stop! No! Don't Do It!"

In real life they'll do the job for you.

First His Granny...Then His Pastor

Obama Throws Rev Wright Under The Bus

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - "Democrat Barack Obama said Tuesday he was outraged and appalled by the latest comments from his former pastor, who asserted that criticism of his fiery sermons is an attack on the black church and the
U.S. government was responsible for the creation of the AIDS virus.

The presidential candidate is seeking to tamp down the growing fury over Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his incendiary remarks that threaten to undermine his campaign.

"I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday," Obama told reporters at a news conference.

After weeks of staying out of the public eye while critics lambasted his sermons, Wright made three public appearances in four days to defend himself. The former pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago has been combative, providing colorful commentary and feeding the story Obama had hoped was dying down.

"This is not an attack on Jeremiah Wright," Wright told the Washington media Monday. "It has nothing to do with Senator Obama. It is an attack on the black church launched by people who know nothing about the African-American religious tradition."

Obama told reporters Tuesday that Wright's comments do not accurately portray the perspective of the black church.

"The person I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago," Obama said of the man who married him.

Wright criticized the U.S. government as imperialist and stood by his suggestion that the United States invented the HIV virus as a means of genocide against minorities. "Based on this Tuskegee experiment and based on what has happened to Africans in this country, I believe our government is capable of doing anything," he said.

Obama said he heard that Wright had given "a performance" and when he watched tapes, he realized that it more than just a case of the former pastor defending himself.

"What became clear to me was that he was presenting a world view that contradicts what I am and what I stand for," Obama said.

In a highly publicized speech last month, Obama sharply condemned Wright's remarks. But he did not leave the church or repudiate the minister himself, who he said was like a family member.

On Tuesday, Obama sought to distance himself further from Wright.

"I gave him the benefit of the doubt in my speech in Philadelphia explaining that he's done enormous good. ... But when he states and then amplifies such ridiculous propositions as the U.S. government somehow being involved in AIDS. ... There are no excuses. They offended me. They rightly offend all Americans and they should be denounced."

Wright recently retired from the church. He became an issue in Obama's presidential bid when videos circulated of Wright condemning the U.S. government for allegedly racist and genocidal acts. In the videos, some several years old, Wright called on God to "damn America." He also said the government created the AIDS virus to destroy "people of color."

Obama said he didn't vet his pastor before deciding to seek the presidency. He said he was particularly distressed that the furor has been a distraction to the purpose of a campaign."

High dudgeon indeed. Pastor Wright was doing what Pastor Wright has always done, but THIS time he is interfering with a presidential campaign so umbrage where for art thou.

Two decades of listening to this man's hatred and bigotry. And it only becomes intolerable when the stakes are too high to overlook.

What out and out scoundrels these liberals be.

New Police Uniforms To Strike Fear Into The Hearts Of Evil-Doers

Massachusetts Police Get Black Uniforms to Instill Sense of 'Fear'

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — "Springfield's men in black are returning.

The city's new police commissioner, William Fitchet, says members of the department's Street Crime Unit will again don black, military-style uniforms as part of his strategy to deal with youth violence.

Fitchet's predecessor, Edward Flynn, had ditched the black attire as part of an effort to soften the image of the unit. Flynn left Springfield in January to become the police chief in Milwaukee.

Sgt. John Delaney told a city council hearing Wednesday that the stark uniforms send a message to criminals that officers are serious about making arrests.

Delaney said a sense of "fear" has been missing for the past few years."

So that's what law enforcement is really all about?

Fear.

Didn't the Nazi's start this way? Black uniforms and all...

Texas man indicted in 13-year-old intruder's slaying

LAREDO — "A man who shot and killed a 13-year-old breaking into his mobile home has been indicted for murder in a case that could test a new law giving Texans more leeway to defend themselves with deadly force.

Jose Luis Gonzalez, 63, was indicted Friday in the July killing of a teenager who sneaked into his home with three friends to steal drinks and snacks. Francisco Anguiano was shot in the back and later died at a Laredo hospital.

Gonzalez was indicted by a grand jury for first-degree murder.

Gonzalez told authorities he was asleep in a nearby shed when he heard the teenagers inside his home and was trying to subdue the intruders when his gun went off.

Isidro Alaniz, Gonzalez's attorney, said after the indictment that Gonzalez protected his property within his rights. He said Gonzalez's defense is bolstered by the so-called castle doctrine, a state law enacted last year that gives a person no duty to retreat from an intruder before using deadly force."

To date, no state with a Castle Doctrine has successfully prosecuted an otherwise good shoot in or on the premises of someone whose property was invaded. At least I cannot find such an event. In Florida they won't even make the attempt unless it is obviously a gang related, or a drug killing.

Fries my clams that in Texas of all places they presume guilt and to hell with the new Castle Doctrine.

What's the purpose of the bloody law to begin with then?

Suspended...WITH PAY...

Gary cop charged in drive-by shooting

VALPARAISO | A Gary police officer has been charged in the March 18 drive-by shooting on Cooley Street in Portage, which followed a fight on St. Patrick's Day at a Hobart bar.

Gary police Cpl. Steven Andrus was charged in Porter County on Thursday with two counts of criminal recklessness, a Class C felony.

Nobody was injured in the shooting, which occurred at 4 a.m. March 18 in the 3000 and 3100 blocks of Cooley Street on Portage's west side.

According to court documents, the Cooley Street resident was at Cagne's Bar in Hobart, where he, his brother and stepbrother were confronted by another group of men. A fight broke out, then the three men left.

About 45 minutes later, the Cooley Street resident told police his wife received three phone calls asking for someone who did not live at the home. During the third call, the resident saw a truck drive slowly past his house. Thinking the people in the truck had something to do with the incident at the bar, he got a pipe and began to follow the truck, according to court documents. He heard several "caplike" sounds.

Police recovered bullets from the exterior of the victim's house and another nearby house.

During the investigation, Portage police said they learned Andrus was a possible suspect. An Indiana State Police lab matched the bullets and casings found at the scene to Andrus' duty weapon.

Andrus was suspended with pay and turned in his police equipment once Gary police officials were made aware that Andrus was a "serious person of interest" in the case. Gary police Cmdr. Samuel Roberts said Thursday that Andrus remains suspended with pay."

Lets thank our lucky stars that Officer Andrus wasn't issued an ASSAULT WEAPON! The entire neighborhood would be nothing but a steaming hole in the ground.

Daley: Chicago police to get assault rifles

"Mayor Richard Daley said Saturday Chicago police officers will he armed with high-powered assault rifles when they're on the streets fighting gangs and other criminals.

"Many times they're outgunned, to be very frank," Daley said at an event in the Englewood neighborhood. "When they come to a scene, someone has a semi fully-automatic weapon and you have a little pistol, uh, good luck."

The city's police officers carry pistols, and Daley suggested they will start carrying "M4 rifles."

Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the department still is working out details about the M4 carbines.

Daley pointed out that the Illinois State Police, Chicago SWAT units and other police departments around the country already carry high-powered assault weapons. He said the weapons will better match the Chicago police officers against criminals with sophisticated weapons, such as high-powered assault rifles. (Wow, ya think? Fits)

"We're finding out that the weapons of criminals are getting bigger and bigger, AK47s, all types of different weapons, because they can carry assault weapons, it's not a violation of federal law, and that is a concern for all of us," he said."

It's NOT a violation of the law for criminals to carry an AK?

Well beat the boogers outta me but it sure as all hells IS. That's what being a criminal means, you cretin. Someone who does something...hold on now I'll type slowly...CRIMINAL.

Now repeat after me, you uneducated, no-nothing liberal idiot; an AK-47 is NOT a high-powered rifle. Neither is an M4. Especially the "semi-full-automatic" kind. And "working out the details" means they'll settle for an M4-gery, some knock-0ff overpriced poodle shooter in semi-automatic.

And tell me, if you'd be so kind, if your guys and gals are being out-gunned how come we haven't heard a damned thing about mass police killings? In 2007, throughout the entire country we lost 69 cops to homicide, including 17 Feds some of which were killed in Iraq, and 81 to traffic accidents. 60% of ALL law enforcement deaths are due to accident, Mr. Mayor, so how's about instituting a frickin DRIVER SAFETY program?

But lets get back to all of those officers out-gunned in the line of duty, shall we?

Texas lost 22 officers to homicide, Florida 16, New York 12 and California 11. Domestic violence calls account for the majority of officer deaths, Mr. Mayor, and 5 Illinois officers died in the line of duty, but I cannot find ONE mention of any deaths or even injuries from "assault-weapons".

Strange, isn't it?

To date, 12 cops have died this year as a result of gunfire. None in Illinois, Mr. Mayor, nor wounded either, so I guess your people have been dodgin' those super-guns really, really well.

Let's summarize just for the hell of it, shall we?

In 2007, NO incidents of officers killed or wounded as a result of confrontations with criminals bearing assault-weapons. ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Certainly none in Chicago, let alone all of Illinois.

Happily enough, particularly with all this talk of being out-gunned, fewer officers have been killed as a result of gunfire in 2008 than last year. So here comes the tough part....

If none of your cops were harmed by AK's, or AR's, or ANY assault rifle, and be honest with me now, were they simply running away? Is THAT what this fuss is all about? Your officers want to stand and fight? IF so, they better be using weapons superior to the ones they are fleeing from, because THOSE don't seem to be all that harmful now do they?

And to get down to the nitty gritty here, I know it can't be as simple as you and law enforcement making all this up, heaven forbid, because you said that "many times they're out-gunned," so for the sake of brother officers across the country, just precisely how ARE your guys managing to duck all those machine gun bullets?

Phony Man Of The Cloth Resorts To Whining

Wright: Criticism is attack on church

"Brimming with defiance and in-your-face bravado, Barack Obama's former pastor said critics of his controversial remarks have a hidden agenda - to attack the black church."

Well, now let me clue you in, Reverend.

If you are the enemy of America that you pretend to be in order to con cash from lower income folks looking to hear something horrendous about "THE MAN", then pal you are our enemy and guess what?

Your church, or any church that condones such racist, bigoted, hate-speech, DESERVES to be attacked. Its cool for YOU to attack the very fabric of the greatest nation the world has ever seen, your very OWN nation at that, but let some take umbrage with such hatred and all you can do is whine that it's an all-out attack?

Wimpy little shit.

Supremes Okay Voter ID...Dems Howl

Supreme Court upholds photo ID law for voters in Indiana...

Could Hurt Obama...

Isn't it both interesting and somewhat unbelievable that the MSM can report that since the Supreme Court has okay'd the use of voter-identification, it might very well hurt Barack Obama.

Tantamount to admitting the democrats are crooked as all hell. Not that we didn't know it already. Why ELSE would they be afraid of asking someone to prove that they are in fact the very same someone who is registered to vote? Can't rent a bloody movie from Blockbuster without SOME form of ID, but the libs think it to be slanderously racist if the same is asked of a voter.

Cannot make this shit up.

Permit holder just fine with bill

SOUTH CAROLINA: "Ron McIsaac, a concealed weapons permit holder who is in a wheelchair, said he doesn't like the idea of his address being made public, partly because he thinks burglars might target his home to steal guns. And he feels he needs a gun for protection because of his handicap.

"All anybody has to do now is come by and knock me off the chair and I'm like a turtle whose been tossed over on his back," he said. "So it's important for me to have the ability to defend myself in a situation like that."

Prior to South Carolina's action, the Brady Campaign counted 26 states where those records are confidential, 20 where they're part of the public record, two that don't require permits to carry a gun and two that don't allow carrying concealed weapons.

Mark Bilicki, a firearms instructor in Greenville said he can understand why some people might not want their name and address published.

But he said for many people, letting everyone know they may be carrying a gun is a point in their favor for safety. "Quite frankly I want everybody to know I own a gun," he said.

Since the 'journalist' who hastily assembled this disorganized detritus presumed his readers to be acquainted with the old and NEW laws regarding the availability of license holders' records, lets clarify.

Once upon a time any Tom, Dick, or Harry could look up Joe Blow to see if Mr. Blow had a concealed carry license.

Not anymore. The records are confidential. This means you now have to bribe a cop to run a make for you.

And while I sympathize with Mr. McIssac's plight, there is no reason on God's green earth he should feel obligated to offer a reason for owning and carrying a firearm.

Regarding Mr. Billicki, it is quite obvious that he doesn't have an attorney or two constantly nagging at him for advertising the fact that he owns guns. Nor does he have them insured, or is paying little attention to the "advice" offered by his agent. Plus, if the bad guys know you are armed, besides robbing you, they have just been put on notice that they should shoot you first. That's sort of the whole idea about this concealed means concealed business.

Were open-carry to be legal here in Florida...as it was BEFORE they ushered in the CCW era then surrendered to the incessant whining from Disney and LE...there are times I probably would open carry. Not everywhere, and not all the time. Using the same tactics for different situations is downright silly. Anyway, it's a personal thing and to each their own.

NRA Outrage Of The Week

Legislation Without Representation

"This week’s outrage comes courtesy of Philadelphia Police Commissioner, and former Washington, D.C. police chief, Charles Ramsey.

As we recently reported, the Philadelphia City Council passed five gun control measures, which were subsequently signed by Mayor Michael Nutter in direct violation of Pennsylvania’s state preemption law.

A Philadelphia County court granted NRA’s motion for a temporary restraining order against the new gun control regulations and ruled that Philadelphia is barred from enforcing the ordinances and moving forward on promulgating regulations. But the City opposed the injunction, saying they believed that the ordinances are both necessary and legal.

And while District Attorney Lynne Abraham previously advised Philadelphia’s city council and mayor that their gun control proposals were unconstitutional, the city pressed on, defying the state’s firearm preemption law in its attempt to circumvent the Pennsylvania legislature.

Enter Commissioner Ramsey, whose anti-gun leanings and arrogant, above-the-law mentalities have followed him to the City of Brotherly Love.

Not content with his city passing illegal gun control “laws,” Ramsey is actually encouraging the City Council and Mayor Nutter to ignore the legal advice of city attorneys against enforcing the ordinances. Not only is he in favor of enforcing the illegal measures, he was recently quoted as saying, “As far as I am concerned, the laws are valid, and we will act as if this whole conversation with the D.A. just didn't take place.”

When the City’s Police Commissioner--the top law enforcement official--encourages the mayor and council members to ignore legal advice, that’s not just blatantly arrogant and anti-gun, that’s outrageous."

It is therefore perfectly fine for such troglodytes to enact illegal laws upon their whim and fancy. Breaking the law is okay as long as you're high enough on the totem pole to get away with it.

Sound familiar?

It should. It's how a great many civil servants conduct themselves as of late. Time was when a political crook would at least attempt to disguise such goings on.

Not anymore. After all, what can be done to them? If you've selected NEXT TO NOTHING on your test papers then affix a gold star at your leisure.

Pastor Wright Blames...Well...Us For His Mistakes

Wright Talks 'Public Crucifixion'

DALLAS — "The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the embattled pastor of presidential candidate Barack Obama, gave a 45-minute sermon on Sunday that included a reference to his “public crucifixion” for past comments from the pulpit.

Wright received a standing ovation from the 4,000 worshippers at Friendship-West Baptist Church, The Dallas Morning News reported on its Web site."

The more folks say that not ALL black churches are racist, fear-mongering America-haters, the more articles like this seem to appear front and center.

Now, the basics of American freedom are thus (included for the vagrant liberal who might not understand); You say what you want to say, and as long as what you are saying doesn't cause direct harm to anyone...such as the much loved liberal caterwaul of 'shouting fire in a crowded theater', then you're good to go.

All men of good will happened to despise the words coming from this bigoted race monger, and that was their right. Just as it was his right to utter such depraved filth.

But freedom for ALL isn't something that people like Pastor Wright go to bat for. Freedom what for what THEY believe? Sure. That and a bag of chips. Taking one's lumps and sticking to one's guns DESPITE criticism is the sign of an individual certain of his or her core values. Whining and moaning and complaining and all that weepy crazy dude jazz is the sign of a certifiable lunatic.

You believe America to be run by the KKK? Or That AIDS was created to kill blacks. Or that the thousands killed on September 11 had it coming. Or even the premise that God himself hates the United States?

Okay. But expect to take some hits. And you might want to man-up, Rev. Both you AND your followers. Showing some backbone would be a terrific way to prove that at least you weren't talking out your ass.

Race-Mongering Reverend Al Promises To Shut Down The Town

Citywide protests planned

"With Nicole Paultre Bell at his side, Rev. Al Sharpton promised massive demonstrations in the next two weeks."

Nicole Paultre's last name IS NOT Bell, as they were never married, but Al thought it'd be a cute way to call attention to his latest money making race scam.

Since there might be innocent women and children protesting along with you, Al, here's a friendly heads-up.

DON'T USE THE SUBWAYS

NY's new DEMI-GOD SQUAD is itching to take down some unlawful's, and while that of course shouldn't include minorities or illegal aliens, because, after all, NY is a sanctuary city to all things filthy and anti-American, a stray-spray might zip your way and ruin, just ruin, your entire day*.

Clinton challenges Obama to Lincoln-Douglas style debate...

...no-moderator

Since enough of us have convinced even the lame Clintons that Barack is one dumbass dude, Mrs. Bill is chomping at the bit to get the political world's version of Ted Baxter out in the open and without his ever-present cheat sheets.

Ain't gonna happen, Mrs. Bill. He's still a neophyte liar and everyone knows you're a consummate pro. Its a good move though. The media would continue portraying him as smart, making you ULTRA-smart by whipping him like the stammering fool he really is.

MCCAIN'S PLAN

"WHILE THE DEMOCRATS IMPLODE, HE'S CRAFTED AN INVENTIVE STRATEGY TO WIN IT ALL"

"The campaign style of '04 would never work for him, and the beginning of the campaign proved that," noted one GOP operative with ties to Bushworld. "But I just don't know if this is realistic - why experiment in such a large-scale way?"

McCain strategists insist their paradigm can work. And the sour national climate for the GOP, McCain's limited money supply and his preference for an impromptu campaign style mean there is no other option, says one aide.

"To run a normal, typical race like a normal, typical Republican, we would win 45 percent of the popular vote and 189 electoral votes," this aide says. "You can't just go to Columbus."

This is correct. Since McCain ISN'T a Republican, trying to fool enough people with so relatively little money wouldn't be a smart thing to try. McCain MUST run a different campaign, but if the Obama fiasco in Pennsylvania proved one thing it was the fact that a poser can spend all the money in the world and still lose if he doesn't have much of anything of substance to offer.

Since all of the GOP challengers were even dumber than he, McCain is running OPPOSITE to the values of the Republican party's core-constituency and still "winning". Thats because Republicans expect a lot from their nominee and when one has higher standards things can get dicey.

You can take this latest attempt to understand McCain with a grain of salt because Yellowstream Media types cannot tell the truth for fear of becoming ostracized in a profession that values entertainment over substance. The reason McCain cannot raise as much money as Obama or even Mrs. Bill Clinton is because he isn't liked nearly as much as they are. Obama is in the race because he is a black man who can somewhat read from a teleprompter and Mrs. Bill Clinton is still alive and kicking because she picked the right man to wed.

McCain, on the other hand, must convince patriotic Americans that he speaks the truth, and all his opponents need do is entertain soap-opera devotees looking for pie in the sky. People will ALWAYS over-spend for entertainment, so of course he fights an uphill battle with regards to raising money. All of this "NEW WAY" to run a Presidential campaign is nothing more than facing the reality that he will be begging for cash while his foe will be living high on the hog, so lets make believe we are doing something different because its the RIGHT WAY to do it.

Bullswaddle. Obama and Mr's Clinton APPEAL to their side of the aisle. Thats why there is still no clear cut winner. The weepy loons simply can't decide the BEST way to be politically correct, and remain torn between two sob stories. McCain is asking the Republican Party to vote for him just because he has an "R" after his name. Since the Jurassic Press despises true Republicans they did their level best to diminish McCain's primary opponents, and the McCain campaign is continuing with the same tactic. Count on good reviews from the media to counter the stench from Mr. Hands Across The Aisle who is not anything close to a Conservative Republican but hopes enough folks will be comforted by the fact that at least he's not Obama or Mrs. Bill.

That is his "inventive strategy". And as can be seen from this article, at least SOME of the media are backing his play to the hilt.

...Subtitled: Why They Only Have Poor Folk To Send Us

Team GLOCK Shooting Squad Winners at USPSA

Smyrna, Georgia - "The Team GLOCK Shooting Squad added two more titles to their successful 2008 season by winning at the GLOCK sponsored United States Practical Shooting Association Area 6 Championship at the South River Gun Club in Covington, Georgia from April 18 – 20.

Dave Sevigny dominated the Limited – 10 division by winning 11 out of 12 stages with a 243 point margin of victory over second place Matt Griffin. Jessie Abbate won the High Lady title and first B class in Limited Division. She beat the 2005 ISPC World High Lady Petra Tutschke by 57 points.

The Limited Division in USPSA has historically been dominated by single action iron sight guns, but in recent years, Team GLOCK has won several titles using the Safe Action GLOCK pistol in head to head competition with the 1911. Team GLOCK used .40 caliber GLOCK pistols with major power factor ammunition from Atlanta Arms and Ammo. Sevigny ran a GLOCK 35 while Abbate fired GLOCK 24 to win their respective titles."

The experts said it'd never be done. 1911's with 20 round magazines, 1-pound triggers and $3000 price tags were never going to be beaten by ANY DA gun, not at the highest levels, and especially since the top shooters favored the old iron workhorse.

Then in 2006 David Sevigny took a DA semi-auto, beat the SA 1911, and hasn't looked back since.

Say what you will about the performance characteristics of SIG's and H&K's and any of the other plastic fantastics. Whatever gun you shoot well is the one you SHOULD shoot, but the two platforms dominating today's handgun sports are the 1911 with GLOCK nipping at its heels.

A duplicate of Sevigny's GLOCK can be had for around $750 out the door. Matt Griffin's 1911, well, depends on the deal you can work out, but figure on between $2500-$3000.

Barack's Bomb Buddies

April 26, 2008 -- "DESPITE Hillary Clinton's win in Pennsylvania Tuesday, there's almost no scenario in which she can win the Democratic nomination. Barack Obama is the almost-certain choice to become the nominee - but he'll face far more hurdles than he has overcome in Democratic primaries.

Obama's record of accomplishment is slim. He served two terms in the Illinois legislature, where he did almost nothing to distinguish himself. He has spent nearly half his time as a US Senator running for president.

What Obama does have is a sharp mind, a gift for inspiring rhetoric and a talent for raising money. But he also has a propensity to choose his friends and allies poorly and to be unwilling to extricate himself when those relationships turn troubling. The Rev. Jeremiah Wright's racist and anti-American diatribes will haunt Obama.

But Obama's relationship to William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, members of the '60s domestic terrorist group the Weather Underground, may prove more vexing. The Weather Underground bombed the Capitol, the Pentagon and New York City police headquarters in the '70s; Ayers claimed to have personally participated in the bombings.

Ayers and Dohrn threw a fundraiser for Obama in 1995 as he began his political career, and Obama and Ayers served on a left-wing charity board together for a number of years and remain friends. It is clear from Ayers' memoir, "Fugitive Days," why Ayers would be attracted to almost any young black politician on the left; it's far from clear, however, why Obama would find Ayers an appealing ally..."

What's far from clear is Miz Chavez's difficulty in understanding the plain and simple facts of life.

Obama didn't choose Pastor Wright as a spiritual mentor, Pastor Wright chose Obama to be his pet politician. Back when Obama was beginning to make a name for himself he was told flat out that being an agnostic wasn't going to cut it, so he should ally himself with as many racist black preachers as would take him under their wing.

Street creds.

Obama then needed to find an anarchist, all fledgling black liberal politicians have one, someone to cozy up with to show how anti-establishment he truly was.

Street creds.

Even his wife is a moaning complainer of all things American, and thus a potential star was born. His ascension into the lofty ranks of true leftwing nutcases was BY THE BOOK. Just as his call for HOPE & CHANGE is nothing more than a gathering of hopeless whiners who want the world to CHANGE for them. The liberal playbook of how to succeed in politics without really trying.

Nothing about Barack Obama is a puzzlement. Why supposed Conservative writers can't bring themselves to say so, is.

Sweeties-FinestSexDoll Rental “offers rental service of realistic looking female sex dolls for your greatest pleasures.”

Their star doll is Tracy, who stands a mere 5′1″ and features oral, vajajay and other entries. Although Tracy doesn’t need to be wined and dined, she doesn’t come cheap. To spend a quality 90 minutes with her in the back of a limo will run you $90. If you expect Tracy to actually visit you at home or in your hotel room for a day, be prepared to shell out $320.

And although the company claims the doll is thoroughly cleaned between rentals, play it safe and wear a condom. If you don’t, you might have to pay a “clean-up fee.”

Officer fires gun instead of Taser

A police news release said Lt. Bill Jones intended to use his Taser to stop a fight outside the police department, but he mistakenly drew his handgun and shot the man once in the side. Jones is on administrative leave pending a Kentucky State Police investigation, Nicholasville Police Chief Barry Waldrop said.

Nathan MacLaren of Baytown, Texas, identified the man who was shot as Michael McCarty, 27. McCarty had been listed in critical condition Thursday night.

MacLaren, 47, is the boyfriend of McCarty’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Amanda, and they intended to take the McCartys’ 8-year-old son, Johnny, to Texas, MacLaren said.

MacClaren said he and Amanda McCarty had expected trouble, and they arranged for Michael McCarty to say goodbye to his son at the police department. The couple had a police officer get the boy from Warner Elementary School in Nicholasville, and they had police verify a court order in which a judge granted Amanda McCarty full custody of Johnny and his 6-year-old sister, Megan.

While the children were saying goodbye to their father, MacLaren said, Michael McCarty ran across the parking lot to MacLaren and began swinging. MacLaren said he was trying to get McCarty to his knees “and get him away from me.”

During the scuffle, “I heard a ‘pop’ but I didn’t know where it came from,” MacLaren said. “I didn’t see a weapon.”

McCarty was “screaming in pain, holding his stomach,” MacLaren said. He saw blood on McCarty’s hand."

Good grief, but it isn't possible to even imagine mistaking a Taser for a GLOCK, but then again I guess I've never been that panicky.

Good thing they train these cops so well. A less experienced individual might have fired up a chain saw thinking it to be an umbrella and caused lots more damage.

It's About The Second Amendment And Nothing Else

by Marion Hammer

"While clowning around with my grandchildren one day, I suddenly shouted, "Look at the sky, it has turned from blue to green."

Try as I might, I could never convince them that it was true, because they could see and couldn't be fooled. So it is with Robert Levy's column ("Employers Must Pull The Trigger," Our Opinion, April 22).

Levy claims that our right to have firearms locked in our cars in a parking lot is not about the Second Amendment but about the mythical right of corporations to usurp the Constitution and ban guns. But Levy didn't pull it off because we can see the truth. And the price he's asking us to pay for permission to do business with an anti-gun corporation could mean losing our lives - and that price is as clear as the sky is blue.

The Legislature passed, and Gov. Charlie Crist signed, a law to preserve the self-defense rights of law-abiding men and women in public parking lots. It reaffirms existing rights that have been jeopardized by politically motivated corporate policies.

Big business fought this measure, feigning corporate "private property rights" - a baseless argument considering that business consents to laws that limit property rights. Corporations must abide by civil rights laws, zoning laws, safety inspections and fire codes among others. Laws even dictate the number, size and placement of parking places and mandate space for shopping cart storage in publicly accessible parking lots.

Even Barry Richard, the attorney hired by the Florida Chamber to pitch its side, has acknowledged the truth. In a March 24, 2006, opinion paid for by the chamber, Richard honestly admitted, "The right to control one's property is not absolute. The state can regulate use of and access to property for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and welfare. State statutes, for example, prohibit the possession of certain materials on private property that constitute a public nuisance or safety hazard ... or the exclusion from public accommodations based upon race, gender, handicap, religion or national origin."

Clearly, the state can - and did - act to protect the right of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves when traveling and in publicly accessible parking lots. It is definitely a safety issue, as a living person is clearly more important than an asphalt parking lot.

NRA believes in private property rights, but unlike citizens, corporations are discretionary creations of government. They come into existence through charters created by legislatures. Corporate interests don't override the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.

Shrill arguments for property rights or profits must not take precedence over the lives of hardworking men and women. An employer's political philosophy or contempt for firearms rights does not trump a law-abiding person's fundamental, right to self-protection.

My motivation in teasing my grandchildren was simply to teach them to stand up for what they can see with their own eyes and what they know is true. Although Levy may continue to claim it's not about the Second Amendment, that clearly doesn't make it true."

Marion P. Hammer is past president of the National Rifle Association and executive director of Unified Sportsmen of Florida.

And let the whining continue as businesses run frightened while awaiting the infamous blood in the streets.

Gainesville recently passed a law making it mandatory for all businesses employing more than two people and open to the public to install uni-sex toilet facilities so that trans-gender folks can have a bathroom of their own.

Hardly a peep out of the Chamber of Commerce because it wouldn't be politically correct to fight so costly an endeavor, and indeed some stores said they'd be forced to close up shop and move, but there wasn't much of an attempt to defeat the proposal before it became law.

Don't DARE fight the gays-lesbians-or stuck in the middle's.

But spit on the 2nd Amendment with impunity.

Birmingham Mayor Suggests Prayer, Wearing Sacks to Curb Spate of Homicides

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — "Struggling to confront a worsening homicide rate, the mayor of Birmingham asked pastors and citizens Friday to don burlap sacks and ashes Friday in an Old Testament-style sign of biblical repentance.

Mayor Larry Langford said his "sackcloth and ashes" rally at Boutwell Auditorium was inspired by the Book of Jonah, where residents of the ancient city of Ninevah wore rough fabric and ashes as a sign of turning away from sin.

A pastor who helped organize the rally said Langford purchased 2,000 burlap bags that will be handed out at the event.

"We believe things begin to dramatically change when the mayor, or leader, calls for prayer. I don't think there's ever been a city called to sackcloth and ashes," Green said.

Since he took office last year, Langford has held three prayer rallies as a way of addressing crime and violence. Bibles were handed out at one of the events.

"This city needs to humble itself," said Langford, a professing Christian.

So far this year 27 people have been killed in Birmingham, compared to 19 at the same time last year.

The mayor's prayer rallies may run the potential of creating a dispute over church-state separation. Olivia Turner, director of the American Civil Liberties Union in Alabama, said the group has had complaints and is discussing the events.

Birmingham city officials have turned to prayer in the past to cope with the city's crime problems.

The former chief, Annetta Nunn, promoted the idea of turning people toward God to quell the violence in the city's neighborhoods, and she instituted a Bible-based plan of civic responsibility for cleaning up rundown neighborhoods.

The current police chief, Langford appointee A.C. Roper, has a lengthy resume that includes being an ordained minister. He was in the military and worked with the Hoover Police Department for nearly two decades.

Roper supports the repentance rally, but he said law enforcement cannot stop there."

Well gee, Chief, perhaps law enforcement should START, then the citizens of Birmingham can STOP seeking supernatural methods to prevent crime.

Ridiculous state of affairs when the police are such non-factors that ancient texts must be dusted off in place of competent law enforcement. Discuss what you need in order to be more effective, and if that doesn't work then let them paint themselves blue if it makes 'em feel better. To date, law enforcement hasn't done much of anything except try to punish the guilty, so saying that you can't "stop there" is as bush league as it is disingenuous.

Chicago Man Hit by Taser After Bar Fight Dies

OXFORD, Ohio — "A Chicago man died Thursday, five days after police subdued him with a Taser outside a bar near Miami University, a hospital spokesman said.

Kevin Piskura, 24, died shortly after 5 p.m. at University Hospital in Cincinnati, said spokesman Don Crouse.

Oxford officer Geoff Robinson used the device early Saturday morning as he tried to break up a fight, police said. The Butler County offices of the sheriff and prosecutor are investigating the officer's actions.

"We still request that people refrain from rash judgment and wait until the independent investigation of this event is complete, lest tragedy lead to more tragedy," the Piskura family said in a statement released by the hospital.

Piskura, a 2006 Miami graduate, argued with police after a friend was escorted from a bar, police said. The officer drew his Taser stun gun and told Piskura to stop, and when he did not, the officer used the device and hit Piskura in the chest.

Video from a camera attached to the Taser shows Piskura getting shocked for about 10 seconds as he rolls around on a sidewalk.

Robinson, 27, has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of the investigation, Oxford police spokesman Jim Squance said.

Robinson has been an Oxford police officer for two years. He had taken a refresher course on using a stun gun a week before the incident, police said."

I think it would be fair to say that Taser's flat out kill some folks deader 'n a doornail. I don't fault the officer for using something in his official repertoire of drunk-stoppers, but going back to the old 12-ounce sap might be something of a good idea if they actually want to stop killing people.

I'm not against the use of Taser's just tired of all the "non-lethal" bullshit.

McCain Takes Shot at Obama for Hamas Support

"John McCain taunted Barack Obama Friday for his recent “endorsement” from a Hamas adviser, wearing his own apparent rejection by the terrorist group as a badge of honor and saying that if elected he would be “Hamas’ worst nightmare.”

McCain spoke openly about the touchy subject on a conference call with bloggers Friday morning, even as he was fighting with a local Republican Party to take down an ad critical of Obama that he said was harmful to the “respectful” spirit of the race.

“I think it is very clear who Hamas wants to be the next president of the United States … I think that the people should understand that I will be Hamas’ worst nightmare,” McCain said when asked about the group’s recent statements about Obama.

Campaign spokesman Brian Rogers said the Hamas support “is a legitimate issue for the American people to think about.”

Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef said two weeks ago in an interview with WABC radio and WorldNetDaily that the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign policy vision."

For as much as John McCain is a never-ending accident waiting to happen, AT LEAST the man paid some dues.

All Barack Hussein Obama has done in his miserable life is to affiliate himself with America-Haters, rampant racists, and criminals, so it is no wonder that terrorist groups would find him pretty.

The truth is this man is one ugly son of a bitch. Nothing but a dullard taught to read, hence the somewhat halting, mispronounced and poorly inflected speech patterns that seem genuine to the easily fooled.

For better or worse, the job is John McCain's for the taking. America as a whole never elects so obvious a dolt who cannot even go toe to toe with someone as inept as Hillary Clinton. Empty suits fool some of the people some of the time, but day after day we're bombarded with examples of why Hussein should remain exactly where he is.

Hillary Clinton: "I Knew Nothing About Weatherman Pardons"

"In an interview yesterday, Hillary -- whose connection to President Clinton's 2001 sentence commutations for two members of the Weather Underground has become an issue since she tried to raise questions about Obama's acquaintance with another ex-Weatherman -- told "Inside Edition" that she "didn't know anything about" the 2001 clemency case.

You can watch the video below. If it's true, it means that she got the worst briefings in the world when she was running for Senate in 2000 and the clemency issue was hot in Rockland County, and it means that Chuck Schumer didn't even bother to mention the issue to his fellow NY senator-elect/ First Lady after promising the widows of two dead cops to fight against one of the clemencies."

Know what? I believe her.

Hillary Clinton NEVER knew all that much about what was going on around her in NY. Widows and orphans begging to keep murderers in jail? Sorry, can't be bothered now, I've fundraiser to attend and how much money can widows and orphans really donate anyway?

The Friends Of Hillary And Obo

by Ann Coulter

"The key problem for Hillary's campaign is that normal people reel back in horror at her association with the Clinton administration. (Which is why, as her supporter, I refer to her as simply "Hillary.")

If Hillary could run exclusively on her record since becoming a senator from New York, she'd be a relatively moderate Democrat who hates the loony left -- as we found out this week when a tape of Hillary denouncing Moveon.org surfaced. Think Joe Biden in a pantsuit.

But because of her unfortunate marriage, Hillary comes with a cast of undesirables like James Carville, Paul Begala, Terry McAuliffe, Joe Conason -- and of course Bill Clinton, along with his trusted impeachment manager Larry Flynt. Buy one, get the entire dirt-bag collection free!

No one wants those people back.

Even semi-respectable Democrats look sleazy by their association with the Clintons. No serious Democrat defended Clinton over his "presidential kneepads" incident with Monica Lewinsky. OK, that's not including adult film star Ron Jeremy, if you consider him a serious Democrat. Which I do.

That's why cable TV producers had to call in the O.J. defenders to flack for Clinton during his impeachment. Any Democrats still clinging to Hillary at this point appear to be soulless climbers desperate for jobs in the next administration.

So repellent are Bill Clinton's friends (to the extent that a sociopathic sex offender with a narcissistic disorder can actually experience friendship in the conventional sense) that B. Hussein Obama's association with a raving racist reverend and a former member of the Weather Underground hasn't caused as much damage as it should.

On one hand, Obama pals around with terrorists. On the other hand, Hillary pals around with James Carville. Advantage: Obama.

Asked why he would be friends with the likes of Weatherman Bill Ayers, Obama said: "The notion that ... me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense."

That's a slick answer -- even "Clintonian"! -- but the problem is, Ayers and his Weatherman wife, Bernadine Dohrn, won't stop boasting about their days as Weathermen.

It's not simply that they haven't repented. To the contrary, those were their glory days! And Ayers isn't just someone who lives in the neighborhood: He and Dohrn were there at the inception of Obama's political career, hosting a fundraiser for Obama at their home back in 1995.

Besides wanton violence, including a dozen bombings of buildings such as the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol, historic statues and various police stations, the Weathermen's "revolutionary" activity consisted primarily of using the word "motherf-----" a lot, dropping LSD, coming up with cutesy phrases -- like "the Weather Underground" -- and competing over who could make the most offensive statements in public. (I also believe Dohrn may have set the North American record for longest stretch without bathing.)

At one rally, Dohrn famously praised the Manson family for murdering Sharon Tate and others, shouting: "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!"

In a better country, just saying "Dig it!" in public would get you 20 years in the slammer.

Dohrn has recently tried to clarify her Manson remarks by saying it was some sort of "statement" about violence in society and, furthermore, that she said it while under sniper fire in Bosnia. Also recently, the members of the Manson family have distanced themselves from Ayers and Dohrn.

At other rallies, Dohrn said, "Bring the revolution home, kill your parents -- that's where it's at."

Using Hussein Obo's logic, taking money from a pro-Nazi organization would be hunky dory because when Hitler was doing his thing, Obo wasn't even born yet!

Jack the Ripper fan club? Not any problem. That is sooooooo 1800's.

Ted Bundy memorial luncheon? Same deal. Little Obo was only 10 when Mr. Bundy began killing so don't blame him!

Still and all I do agree with Ann that being associated with a Weatherman and Weatherwoman is far less odious than supping with a James Carville.

Machine Gun-Toting Officers To Patrol NYC Subway

NEW YORK (CBS) ― " More protection against terrorists is coming to a subway station near you. Starting Thursday, special bomb teams, known as "Torch Teams," will be toting submachine guns and bringing bomb-sniffing dogs onto the platforms and into the trains. CBS 2 HD was out first thing Thursday morning on the lookout for these significant security measure improvements.

It's a first for mass transit in the United States. NYPD officers, armed with rifles, submachine guns, body armor and bomb-sniffing dogs will begin patrolling the city's subway system thanks to a 50 percent increase in a homeland security grant.

The city's massive subway system has long been considered a potential terror target. Six officers and a dog will constitute a team, patrolling all platforms and trains in 12-hour shifts. The "Torch Teams" will be toting MP5 submachine guns and M4 Carbine rifles that are used by Navy seals and FBI hostage-rescue teams. The teams are being paid for by $151 million from the Feds.

Similarly equipped NYPD units, known as "Hercules Teams," have patrolled Wall Street, the Empire State Building and other aboveground city landmarks for years as a response to the World Trade Center attacks.

A police official likened the "Torch Teams" to "Hercules Teams" with MetroCards."

Probably because calling such a total waste of resources the Monument For A Dead-Dick Team, would make these posers downright unhappy. Terrorists want maximum bang for the buck, which is why you DON'T see subway or bus bombings in the Big Apple, and most likely WON'T.

Knowing that enraging us will result in many, many deaths to their side, and total condemnation of dirty-old-Mo lovers living in the City, terror jerkwads like islam's finest have to get a massive return for their splodey-dopes for it to be worthwhile.

The Federal government knows that NYC loves turning loose the gestapo...and letting them accumulate those 25 hours of overtime per day apiece...which is why they tried cutting back to begin with. But what the hell; if Bloomberg's finest want to strut around with weapon systems forbidden to the general public then let 'em. By mistake they might very well run across some actual criminals that need decriminilizing.

Hey,
could happen.

Except for Jimmy Carter. Who so dearly wishes to be remembered as a great man...by ANYONE.

Phone Number Could Tie Colorado Woman to Calls Sparking Raid of Polygamist Sect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — "A phone number used to allege child abuse at a Texas polygamist retreat had been used before by a Colorado woman, who's accused of making several false abuse claims in an unrelated case, according to an affidavit made public Wednesday.

Rozita Swinton, 33, of Colorado Springs, had used the number before it was used to place a call to a crisis center in Texas, the arrest warrant affidavit said. The call came before authorities raided the Eldorado retreat and removed more than 400 children this month, but it was not clear whether authorities suspect Swinton made any of the calls that triggered the raid.

Swinton's whereabouts were unknown and she did not immediately return a phone message."

Phony 911 call or not, how dumb can these polygamist people be?

If they were gay or lesbian polygamists everything would be cool, because alternate lifestyle folks have convinced much of the country that what goes on behind closed doors is nobody's business, no matter how disgusting it might seem to normal humankind.

But not when it comes to straight folks. And all they had to do was to hang up signs directing other would be polygamists to Fundamental Texas Fruits, Inc. and the cops would never have dared to bust the show.

5 Shot Dead On South Side

Checking In On How Alla That There Strict Gun Control Is Working

CHICAGO (CBS) ―
" Five people have been fatally shot on the South Side on Wednesday afternoon, a fire department source confirms.

Police responded to reports of "multiple people shot" in the 7600 block of South Rhodes Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Marcel Bright said. The shooting took place inside a residence, he said.

About 3:45 p.m. ambulances responded to 7607 S. Rhodes Ave., according to Fire Media Affairs Asst. Director Eve Rodriguez. No one was transported to hospitals.

Wednesday afternoon's shooting comes on the heels of a particularly violent weekend in the city. Between Friday night and early Monday morning, 36 people were shot in Chicago, nine fatally, and two people were stabbed.

The beginning of the week saw continued violence. Over Monday night, four people were killed and eight more injured in seven separate incidents.

Tuesday night four people were shot; one of those victims died."

They expect us to believe, that with some of the most draconian gun control laws on the books, such incidents are still occurring?

Don't these shooters know how illegal this is? Are there not enough signs? Placards? Flyers, maybe?

There's gotta be a reason for all of these killings. The police have vowed, VOWED, mind you, to step up patrols in the more dangerous parts of town and since they cannot even come close to stopping the mayhem it leads me to believe that stronger measures are necessary.

It's the Joker taking control of Gotham City all over again.

And there is no Batman.

Just one thing to do.

SHOOT THESE SHITHEADS DEAD, OKAY? Time to ditch all of those hug-the-bad-guy plans drawn up by city hall and the police, and get back to DOING THE JOB. Herding all of those fine minorities into dilapidated ghettos just so they'd know where to find them come time to call out the vote maybe wasn't the best of ideas.

The Hazards Of Open Carry...

Not from the criminal element...but from...oh hell, just guess

"As the trooper was getting my wallet, the cheif took out my gun, removed the clip, cleared the pipe, and gave me a really hateful look. The trooper then began his 10 minute rendition again on how foolish it was to do this since I had a cpl. The cheif steps up: (I relate him to be ex-military definately, Marine or Drill instructor, I'd recognize that posture anywhere) he got within ten inches of my face and square in the eye contact and said, (a very aggressive step forward) "This isn't the old west you know!"

I said, I know and I'm glad it's not. He said;"Then why are you carrying that gun." I said, because it's legal and I can. He said; "Well I don't think you should be carrying it." I said; Ok, that's your opinion and I respect that, but I choose to carry everywhere I go. As I was facing off with the cheif, I could see the trooper out of the corner of my eye, I can't speak for him or know for sure what he was thinking, but the look on his face and his posture said volumes. I think I surprised him with my composure in the face of the cheif's aggression.

At this point the trooper stepped in and the cheif gave him my gun and stepped over to his car. The trooper then told me he was mis-informed. It wasn't Home Depot who called, it was a concerned shopper. I told him ok, I can understand that and had no problem with it. I told him this re-enforces what I had said about public awareness and not making a panic call to 911. He thanked me for my co-operation and handed me my gun, which I refused. I told him I would rather he lay it in the seat of my truck and I will get it when I leave. He said ok, and put it in the driver's seat. The trooper then told me to consider what had happened here today and maybe change my view of open carrying."

True story of a gentleman stopped and harassed and then harassed some more for legally open-carrying his handgun.

A little more...

"Ok, one little tidbit, when the chief checked out the magazine-- he made a point to show the trooper and didn't like what he saw and shot me a look of true dislike! I was max loaded-- 17mag- 1 in the pipe-- 135gr jhp of teflon coated Black Talons! He said they're illegal, I said no, the manufacture of teflon coated bullets was banned, not the possesion of ammunition purchased pre-ban. I have 2,000 rounds, would you like some."

Latest PA Polls

Women
Clinton 55%
Obama 44

Men
Clinton 47%
Obama 53

Whites
Clinton 60%
Obama 40

Blacks
Clinton 8%
Obama 92

Nothing unusual here. Women playing the gender card, blacks the race card. Problem with Hillary winning the suburbs and the total popular vote, is the fact that the cities have MORE votes per capita, so she can win the state and still get fewer delegates than Obo. Just like certain other wackjob democrat primaries that so very much want minority feelings to count more than anyone else's.

EXIT POLLING UPDATE...8:30 PM

Clinton 52%
Obama 48%

The exit polling has sucked, as many people who've voted for Hillary have been saying they've voted for Obo. Happened before, seems to be happening now.

Regardless. She most likely will not swamp him, and that means he gets the final nod.

Slick Willy Continues To Play The Race Card...

...But Doesn't Have The Stones To Admit His Bigotry

Bill Clinton Bristles Anew Over Questions About ‘Race Card’

"Former President Bill Clinton had a testy encounter Tuesday with reporters who questioned his remarks in a radio interview in which he accused Barack Obama’s campaign of unfairly playing the race card on him.

“You always follow me around and play these little games,” Clinton shot back at an ABC News reporter who questioned him about a phone interview with Philadelphia public radio station WHYY.

On Monday, an audibly irritated Clinton railed against the Obama campaign for what he described as an effort to twist comments made in South Carolina on Jan. 26, the Palmetto State’s presidential primary election day.

In the remarks that sparked the furor, Clinton compared Obama’s campaign to that of civil rights activist Jesse Jackson.

“Jesse Jackson won in South Carolina twice in ‘84 and’88, and he ran a good campaign, and Senator Obama has run a good campaign. He has run a good campaign everywhere. He’s got a good — He is a good candidate with a good organization,” Clinton said.

Obama supporters said the remarks were meant to belittle Obama by comparing him with a black candidate whose appeal was more narrow. Obama called the remarks hallmarks of the politics of racism.

Asked Monday if he regretted the comment, Clinton responded: “No, I think that they played the race card on me, and we now know from memos in the campaign and everything that they planned to do it all along.

“Do I regret saying it? No. Do I regret that it was used that way? I certainly do. But you’ve really got to go some (distance) to portray me as a racist,” Clinton said, adding that he has an office in Harlem, and Jackson told him personally he was not offended.

“I called him and asked him if he found anything offensive. And he just laughed and he said, ‘Of course I don’t. We all know what’s going on,’ ” Clinton said.

Clinton told WHYY that he has “conceded that this was used against me, but this was a conversation that occurred early in the morning. We didn’t even know what the vote was going to be at the time. We were all sitting around, drinking coffee — we just finished breakfast — and we were starting, we were talking about South Carolina political history.

“And this was used out of context, and this was twisted for political purposes by the Obama campaign to try to breed resentment elsewhere.”

The former president added a more colorful remark at the end of an interview when he appeared to think he was off-mic.

“I don’t think I should take any sh** from anybody on that, do you?” he apparently asked someone in the room.

A reporter on Tuesday asked Clinton what he meant when he said the Obama campaign was playing the race card on him.

Clinton responded: “No, no, no, that’s not what I said. … You always follow me around and play these little games. And I am not going to play your games today. This is a day about Election Day. Go back and see what the question was, and what my answer was. You have mischaracterized it just to get another cheap story to divert the American people from the real urgent issues before us, and I choose not to play your game today.”

The Clintons are such obsessive liars its hard to tell if this is a pathology with him. He says something on record, is called on it, then says he never said it.

We're not talking about Hillary making stuff up that happened years ago. She thought the media would let the Bosnian sniper-fire lie slide and was sadly mistaken, so you'd think that BJ Billy would be more careful with HIS untruths.

Then again, its only the blacks he's pissing off and the Clinton campaign lost them ages ago. Another Clinton imprimatur: You're only important if you're on our side.
