"A 71-year-old Florida man is being hailed as a hero after he pulled out a gun and shot two men as they tried to rob an Internet cafe in Ocala. The foiled robbery attempt was captured on surveillance video.
The Florida State Attorney’s Office told The Gainesville Sun that it is unlikely Samuel Williams will be charged.
“Based on what I have seen and what I know at this time, I don’t anticipate filing any charges,” said Bill Gladson of the State Attorney’s Office for 5th Judicial Circuit."

Florida is a stand your ground state. And I do believe that this senior Marine stood taller than most men would have if faced with the same situation. At the very least he chased them away before the police arrived, and, after establishing a safe perimeter from which to cower behind, risked the lives of all inside by spraying and praying then warming up a Leer Jet to whisk the miscreants away to the tropical island of their choice.
