Hamas Working to End Rise in Gaza Violence

JERUSALEM (AP) - "The new Hamas-led Palestinian government is quietly working to end a surge in violence, urging rival militant groups in the Gaza Strip to refrain from launching rockets at Israel without official permission.

Although the rocket attacks have not stopped and Hamas says it still supports violent resistance against Israel, its subtle efforts at persuasion look like an attempt to stabilize a chaotic situation so that it can focus on governing the West Bank and Gaza Strip."

"Subtle efforts at persuasion"? Stabilize? Palestinians, and the words "stabilize" and "subtle" in the same utterance? And it's frickin hilarious that the leadership still stands for the elimination of Jews the world over, but wants to kill them in an organized manner so c'mon guys, get with the program.

If it wasn't for the fact that they're nothing if not filthy scum, we'd have to invent the Paleswines just for the comic relief. Akin to cloning a Neanderthal, dropping him off in the middle of civilization, then expecting him to understand rocket science.
