Who's In The Hoosegow

This posting by David Codrea @ The War on Guns got me to thinking.

"One in every 31 U.S. adults is in the corrections system..."

So I went and done me some lookin' up stuff.

"...in 1999, seven states incarcerated more than half of all local jail inmates (in the country: Fits): California, Texas, Florida, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana.

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics (2000), the number of jail inmates per 100,000 in the population reached 220 by midyear 1999. Of the seventeen states with rates greater than that for the country, eleven were in the South, four were in the West, one was in the Northeast, and one in the Midwest. States with the largest number of jail inmates per 100,000 population were Louisiana (585), Georgia (421), Tennessee (358), and Florida (337). By contrast, the incarceration rates of four states—Maine (89), North Dakota (92), Iowa (104), and Minnesota (105), were less than half of the national rate."

Translated minus the bullshit: What do the above mentioned states with the highest number of incarcerations have in common, ya think, and how's about those states with the lowest?

Blacks, hispanics, and illegal immigrants flock to those big states with the most folks in jail, and are...yet...not to be found in great numbers in those states with the least amount of people locked away.

And just how big is the illegal immigrant problem?

"P
olice commanders may not want to discuss, much less respond to, the illegal-alien crisis, but its magnitude for law enforcement is startling. Some examples:

• In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens."

95% of outstanding homicide warrants. Such as when the street gang kids play shoot-em-up and one or two or three dies and the Brady Bunch lists them as "children killed accidentally by firearms".

And what if we actually caught alla these illegals...where WOULD we put 'em?

"One-of five crimes in the U.S. is committed by a member of an illegal alien family."

INVASION USA
Illegal aliens linked to gang-rape wave

Seems to me that we need lots more jails. That or outright deport millions of criminals that we can't even seem to apprehend. Not much can be done about the problem created by decades of liberal family-destruction plans that has created a sub culture of animals incapable of living in a lawful society. The ones legally here will remain here and go to jail in greater numbers than they go to high school.

Choices, you ask?

Either rid ourselves of those who have willfully designed a predatory class sure to become the downfall of America, or pass it along for the coming generations to worry about. Sticking point?

There simply aren't enough of us willing to fight in order to take back our freedom. Maybe future generations will have lots more braver men.
