Flight 292 Lands Safely...

Coming in on a twisted front landing gear, the pilots of JetBlue Airlines Flight 292 from California to New York, brought the airplane to a safe emergency landing at LAX with no injuries to any of the 145 passengers and crew.

In following this from the get-go, MSNBC provided the best coverage of the event, with Fox fumbling as usual and CNN offering the slickest presentation but nothing beats people on the scene and at least 2 of the passengers aboard 292 were employees of MSNBC and provided cell phone reports immediately upon landing.

We also would like to bring to your attention that no missiles were involved in this mishap, so please disregard any reports from Little Green Footballs that would attempt to suggest otherwise.

Did I mention it was a French-made Airbus? Okay. Fly-by-wire instead of hydraulics because French pilots have no arm strength and most countries do not allow the pilots to use their feet so they rely on computers. Not that this particular incident had anything to do with the design of the aircraft, but lets face it, it was after all, Frog-In-The-Clouds R-Us, and that is always a concern.
