Dick Morris Thinks The Prez Comes Out A-Okay

Nice take on the matter Dick, few are looking at it this way and my heart wants to agree with you, but my head tells me that as soon as there's no more agony to shove in our face, the MSM is out the door like a shot. Remember that months ago they were priming us for a gigantic hurricane season, many, many of them on the way for global warming is upon us. Take the children, let the horses run free, and I'll meet you on the high ground. Remember that? Didn't happen but it's what sells dish detergent so they jumped in with both left feet to cover Katrina and as soon as the last old lady gets out of her wheelchair to embrace the ladder from the hovering chopper, they'll come to the conclusion that all that's left is blaming the liberal local government for most of the problem and that's a definite no-no.

Even Fox can't help us here, Dick, because John Roberts squirming under the wrath of Kennedy and Schumer will be enough fresh agony to display and showing dirty water being pumped from mile-long pipes just won't cut it.

New York Post Online Edition: postopinion

September 7, 2005 -- DEMOCRATS and their allies think they have at last found the perfect storm to sink the Bush presidency and, possibly, shake the GOP domination in the Delta area. The media has constantly harped on the political damage President Bush's belated response to the hurricane disaster will cause.

Don't believe it. Yes, his reviews in the first days after the tempest hit are clearly bad and he obviously failed to anticipate the magnitude of the response the nation expected and the area needed — but relief is a gift that keeps on giving.
