Liberal Media Racist And Exploiting Blacks?

Here's the breakdown of the counties in Louisianna and Mississippi hardest hit from Katrina: It averages out to a 73.8% Caucasian, so why the focus on the pockets of poor blacks in New Orleans?

Parish or county White, Black

Jefferson, La. 69.8% 22.9%
Orleans, La. 28.1% 67.3%
Plaquemines, La. 69.8% 23.4%
St. Bernard, La. 88.3% 7.6%
St. Tammany, La. 87.0% 9.9%
Hancock, Miss. 90.2% 6.8%
Harrison, Miss. 73.1% 21.1%
Jackson, Miss. 75.4% 20.9%

Because N.O. was the bestl known city of the bunch, or the most likely to provide the better doom & gloom stories because the liberal media just LOVES showing poor black folk being beaten down by the MAN? Was New Orleans the hardest hit? Reports are coming in that other towns were literally wiped off the map, but, we won't know for sure, won't know the total death toll for a while, and in part and because the MSM isn't showing us much of anywhere else.

Whatever their justification, the media headed towards the ONLY area that was predominantly black, and then had the honest-to-goodness balls to ask why it was the blacks who were suffering the most.

Check out the list again. Look at the areas that were hardest hit. Now ask yourself why we've been focusing on New Orleans, if it IS NOT at least in part to play the race angle.
Also ask yourself why asswipes such Keith Olberman entertained the likes of Reverend Al Sharpton...taking a leave of absence from his new bitc, strike that, poor downtrodden mother, to focus on how awful Bush and the feds were in taking their time because it was really only a black thing.

FEMA broke ALL records in responding. Everywhere. Yes, there are pockets of resistance that have been difficult, and yes again, some these have been in N.O. where firefights between cops and thugs are still going on.

What about the other counties? Where are the poor white folk struggling through the same disaster? Why isn't Geraldo weeping over the remains of the vast majority of communities that were destroyed, the one's that weren't black? Almost 74% of the people effected, Geraldo, O'Reilly and Shep, and you havent stopped by once.

Not enough social commentary elsewhere? Nowhere near the drama? One thing's for certain...No journalism.

Yes, the coverage bias is there. Expect it. Discect it. Reject it. Filter it out.... Frankly I hope they don't move back into these places and rebuild. The concept of living below the sea level, right near the sea, is fundimentally flawed. Bad idea, bad idea.

What they need is to move out of the low lying spots which _WILL_ breach and fill in with water again during a future disaster. The levies will not hold and are a horrible waste and risk. It is bizzare when people make statements like that about not being able to imagine the disaster striking. It just shows they are people of very limited mind sets. Perhaps they are simply trying to avoid thinking about it.

It would be best if they just abandoned the city of New Orleans and all like places that are too low and rebuilt elsewhere. But no, they're going to spend tens of billions of our tax dollars to rebuild. A waste. Let the swamps and the sea reclaim the cities.
