lgf: The Flight 17 Incident, Topic 2
Charles is now saying that Michelle Malkin: WHAT HAPPENED ON FLIGHT 17? has sunk her teeth into the story and has received word back that the Captain reported an "irregularity" to air traffic control. The plane continued on route to Phoenix, something it would NOT have done were a missle fired at it, and in all likelihood we're looking at another case of some idiot lasering the cockpit. Doesn't change the fact that Charles didn't get on the horn himself to vet this story, and if I can, then he certainly should give it the old college try. A family member works at JFK and I was summarily laughed off the phone when I asked if anyone had heard of such an incident. She wouldn't rule out another lasering, but asked the same questions I did, namely how in all hells does such a story slip past the mainstream media, and why no one at the local airports had heard about it. Someone shoots a missile at an aircraft and the entire frickin' CITY shuts down, okay, and for all the painfully obvious reasons. The pilots are buzzing about something, but it doesn't appear to be about a missile, and I for one won't offer anything else until the thing is vetted a helluva lot more.
Sorry Charlie, and I'll apologize if need be, but this was bad blogging, irresponsible journalism, and will turn out to be the butt of every moonbat joke for the next week to come. Naive is naive, and you could have handled this a dozen different ways but chose to blurt out the most ludicrous reason for what could have caused sucn an irregularity.
