The Senators Might Be Confused...

But the Washington Post Has It All Figured Out

A Conservative, Yes, but Not a Scalia

After two days of often intense questioning of John G. Roberts Jr. by the Senate Judiciary Committee, a new image of President Bush's nominee for chief justice of the United States is coming into focus.

Well, he did it. Not that it's difficult to fool lefty's, but the level of persuasiveness that managed to so easily discombobulate the unaugust Washington Post in so short a time is impressive. It's what they do best, lying to themselves when a subject is too depressing to think about, and let me say that I think Roberts has the potential to out-Scalia Scalia, but in a more roundabout, subtle manner. If the law is the law is the law, as he's said. then so very much of what the loony left has forcefed the country is soon to be a thing of the past.
