Zimbabwe Condemns Kidman Movie As CIA Plot

"Look, she's neither a Kid nor a Man," President Mugabe tells a stunned audience that gathered in Harare to witness the screening of "The Interpreter" in Zimbabwe's first Ride-Your-Elephant-In theater.

Zimbabwe: CIA Is Behind Kidman Movie

HARARE, Zimbabwe - President Robert Mugabe's government has attacked the suspense thriller "The Interpreter," starring Nicole Kidman, claiming it is part of a propaganda campaign by the CIA that shows "Zimbabwe's enemies did not rest."

"The film just shows how careful we have to be and that we should know our enemy is very powerful," Minister of Information Chimutengwende said. "We should plan to counter Euro-American imperialism. Our enemies have resources and are determined to wage their war on the economic, social and cultural fronts."

"There have been many such attempts to rob Zimbabwe men of their vital fluids," Hector Chimechanga, Minister of Movies From America And Other Dirty Places That Let Women Vote, added. "Now they send us a film starring somebody named Kid-Man who isn't a man at all but some woman that is allowed to talk when men are speaking, and our censors discovered this perfidious act before our powerful enemy could do more damage to our unique culture that they have no business trifling with to begin with."
