Still a bit woosy after the Marine Corps Ball. We had a pizza eating contest and I came in 2nd. I would'a taken top honors if I'd have known they were going to have the thing. Finishing off a bucket of KFC isn't the best way to then enter a food guzzle.Veterans have raised the flag in every clime and place their country asked. Memorial Day is for those who've past. Veterans Day is for getting back into the old uniform once again, and yes, more pizza eating contests. Make this a happy day. Real heroes hate it when people get all mushy simply because they did their job. Mushy is for tree-huggers. Celebrate the living, and it wouldn't hurt to thank someone who has worn your colors.
