ACTRESS SUICIDE WAS COVERUP FOR MURDER...

I've been following this story since her apparent suicide last week, and like a great many of those knowing of Adrienne Shelly, was finding it hard to believe she hanged herself. More famous for her liberal rants and protests and love of illegal imiigrants than any minor acting ability, Shelly was the quintessential prototype for what we sometimes refer to as "Sheeple".

November 7, 2006 -- "In a stunning turnaround, a construction worker yesterday confessed to killing indie actress Adrienne Shelly, whose death in a Greenwich Village apartment last week was first thought to be suicide, cops said.

"I was having a bad day," illegal immigrant Diego Pillco, 19, allegedly told cops. "I didn't mean to kill her. But I did kill her."

Pillco told detectives that he punched Shelly, 40, last Wednesday afternoon outside the Abingdon Square apartment she was using as an office after she yelled at him about the noise he was making while working in a vacant apartment below.

The suspect's stunned boss, contractor Louis Hernandez, called his employee "a good kid."

Tragic. But they live in a world of their own creation. A world where one can get in the face of a minority member without fear because, after all, no one would EVER harm THEM. What's just AS tragic is the fact that the scumdog who hired this illegal son of a bitch can go back to business as usual. There are thousands of contruction workers looking for jobs each and every day in the greater NY area, and to employ an illegal alien to save a few bucks makes this contractor as guilty as the killer he hired.

Wasn't all that long ago when Mr. Hernandez himself would be brought up on charges, but not today, and certainly not in NYC.
