In the 19 years Florida has had Concealed Carry, a mere .3% of the licenses have been revoked. Nearly 57,000 people obtain CWP...Concealed Weapon Permits per year, and what would be considered major crimes committed by these licensees is so negligible as to be unworthy of inclusion into a database. Most legal packers lose their license for failure to renew, or having moved to another state, with the occassional whoops that results when someone forgets to leave the gun in the car when hopping onto a barstool, and is reported to the police. Homicides, none. Robberies, none.
Florida has more CWP licensees than police, and fewer of them have their weapons taken away than their brothers and sisters who carry a badge.
