Right off the bat let me say I'm not a big college football fan. But this year's Florida Gators have made me at least take notice, and for kiddie-ball that's saying a lot.
Florida had the toughest schedule in the country, went 12-1, and took home the SEC Championship. If they don't get the BCS nod to play Ohio State for the National Championship, then something is particularly rotten.
Champions should play champions. There isn't another team in the top 25, besides Big-10 Champ Ohio that can make that claim, and tomorrow Florida leapfrogs both Michigan and USC to the #2 spot, then on to Arizona on the 8th of January for a showdown against the Buckeyes.
And, as USC proved, when it's all on the line these kids can spit the bit, so for my money that'd be anyone's game.
All of Gainesville is holding it's collective breath, and this is going to get interesting so stay tuned.
