4" barrel with the obligatory Hogue's, its easy to see the enormous difference of not having a Ruger working at Ruger. Since its a Ruger means this particular revolver can safely handle the "new" .45 Colt loads that come ever so close to .44 Magnum territory, but why not just buy a .44 you ask?
Something about the old .45 Colt that is magical to wheelgunners.
$700 out-the-door seems about right.
