Kidnapped Brit Confesses

"Her blond hair is concealed by an Iranian head scarf. Her smoking reveals her nervousness. And when the captured British sailor admits she "trespassed" into Iranian waters, there is fear in her eyes.

Faye (Topsy) Turney has become a pawn in a high-stakes diplomatic standoff - and the face of British impotence in the wake of the latest Iranian outrage.

In chilling footage released yesterday, the lone woman among the 15 British sailors and marines seized last week praises her captors as "very friendly and very hospitable, very thoughtful, nice people."

"Obviously, we trespassed into their waters," Turney says, dressed in a white tunic against a floral-pattered curtain backdrop. "They explained to us why we've been arrested; there was no harm, no aggression."

Before the video was broadcast, a spokesman for British Prime Minister Tony Blair warned that any attempt to humiliate the captives by putting them on display would be a breach of the Geneva Conventions.

The Iranians did it anyway.

State TV also broadcast footage of the 26-year-old mother eating with her fellow captives, as well as a shot of the Brits sitting helplessly in an Iranian boat immediately after their capture in the Persian Gulf..."

The moslems decided to pick on a little girl, and not having seen the video it is impossible to determine if she tried to pass along any coded information that would communicate her being coerced into offering so shameful an apology. Military personnel only participate in such goings on if their lives have been threatened, and it will be interesting to listen to what she and the others have to say after their release.

Isn't enough to kidnap people, the moslems also wish to thoroughly humiliate them, and where are all of the apologists for islam? How about the moderates?
